About Us
Mennonite Women USA was formed in 2003 out of a long history of women connecting through friendship, fellowship, mission projects and service.
That history began in 1916-1917 with “Women’s Missionary and Service Commission of Mennonite Church” and “Women in Mission of the General Conference”. These two organizations merged into Mennonite Women in 1997, which became Mennonite Women USA in 2003.
Mennonite Women USA (MW USA) is a sisterhood of women following Jesus. Engaging the voices of all women, we honor our stories, practice justice, and embrace healing. MW USA includes any woman who desires to connect with other Mennonite women through our publications, events, and social media.
There is no membership!
Mennonite women are diverse in age, ethnicity, geography and theology. We meet in Bible study groups, during seminars, mission and service groups, one-on-one in friendships, and at retreats. We are women who juggle work, family, and spiritual growth yet seek to be part of faith circles that fit our needs.
Mennonite Women USA is the women’s organization of Mennonite Church USA.

Mennonite Women USA includes any woman who desires to connect with
