Guidelines for making a wall-hanging

The pattern, fabrics, quilting design, etc. are all your choice.  This is a wall hanging so please include a hanging sleeve.

Dimensions should be somewhere between 90” and 150” around.  They can be square (96 is 24” square; 144 is 36” square) or rectangular as long as the total outside dimensions (add up all four sides) do not exceed 150 inches.

When you begin a quilt for this project, please inform the coordinator:

  When your quilt is finished, take a picture of yourself or your group with your wall hanging and make two or three copies.  You will send one along with the quilt, another to me at the above address, keep the third for yourself.

·When you are finished with your quilt, let me know and I will send shipping instructions and a label for you to applique to the back of the quilt.  You will send your quilt to an MDS project coordinator who will present it to a new homeowner when her home is dedicated.
