Miriam Circle

WHAT IS A MIRIAM CIRCLE?

Miriam Circles are groups of women of all ages who, together, contribute $1,000 or more per year - through contributions and timbrel subscriptions - sharing in the ministry of Mennonite Women USA.

WHY START A MIRIAM CIRCLE?

A Miriam Circle is one way for women from a church or group to pool their resources to make a difference for the ministries of MW USA.  By being a part of a Miriam Circle, women can flexibly contribute through timbrel subscriptions and cash donations in a way that underwrites the funding all our ministries needed to keep pace with rising costs.

It is a tangible way to show the support of your church for the ministies of MW USA which meet the needs of women globally and locally only because of your generousity.

A purple banner created by Threads of Hope Weavers in Guatemala, and embroidered by Wilma J. Miller, is sent to each Miriam Circle. In succeeding years, groups receive a multi-colored Threads of Hope square to add to their banner
.
